My husband signed every single letter he sent during basic training and during his deployment with ~Love Always~. Before he came home from his first 12 month deployment, I took this letter to a tattoo shop to have them copy and tattoo it underneath my heart without him knowing. I didn’t tell him that I was getting it because I wanted him to find it himself. I wanted him to know that no matter what obstacles we’re faced with, I am committed to him. When he gets out of the Army, it won’t symbolize basic training or a deployment, but it will symbolize the communication we had when we were long distance.
